farewell 2010.

today's official byebye): just hope yall(sec4s) liked whatever we prepared! to the sec1-3s,
i can tell some things were last minute but wtv it is,
yall did a good job,

thank you for all the contributions yall have made! and of course, all the best for O levels, make us proud and give ur jnrs a day off next year yeah? HAHA(:

Back from malacca.
Hello! welcome back to singapore malacca team!(: i know we all miss our hotel rooms but its back to reality! here just to say thanks for all the effort in keeping up to our cedar name, though there were those embarrasing moments, at least we maintained our silence during massed ringing etc. and thanks for the smiles at the last concert and for all the fun. hope that everyone has gained at least something more than just fun nights in the hotel and shopping centres, and please pass it on to those who did not have a chance to go down, we will not abuse our bells anymore and hopefully we can apply the techniques we have learnt (esp coz those people will MOST PROBABLY be our syf judges k!) i hope yall know how lucky yall get to go out of singapore (though its just m'sia) so cherish this experience and stay bonded, and bond even more with those who couldnt go, con't to keep those smiles on your faces and the love for handbells in your heart! i love ringing handbellsand i love ringing handchimesand i like making musicwith all my friends!xoxo rachel p.s. cherish monday okay! Important things to note.
Hi! Attention all malacca team members! Here are a few reminders and add-ons to the pack list. Most importantly: Passport!Add-on: - Thermometer
- Snacks (allowed to be brought into festival area)
Others:
- Stationary (inclusive of HIGHLIGHTERS, pencil etc.)
- Clean, labelled gloves (we will be giving out a new pair on monday morning)
- Booklet (you need to write reflections for the sch to have a look)
- Medication
- (other valuables such as cameras etc are brought at your own risk but videography and photography is allowed during fest except during assestments)
- Anything else necessary at your own discretion (Tissue? Plastic bags? Slippers? etcetc)
For the benefit of rebecca and those of you who STILL do not understand/have queries of our uniform, here is the daily wear: Monday: Polo tee+dark coloured jeans/pants
Tuesday: House tee+dark coloured jeans/pants
Wednesday: First half-Polo tee+dark coloured jeans/pants;
Second half-arts fest costume(inclusive of dress, flats, CARDIGAN)

Logist List.
Sup! :) okay so here's the logistics list thing since it was quite messy today. I've typed the bell numbers all these, ahh, so proud of myself for finding the button to be able to type the little numbers and all. AHH, *pats myself on the back* HEE! But I nearly went crazy typing all the sharps and numbers thingy!!! headache, headache, so please take a look at it, and double check! :) please memorise what you are supposed to take for effeciency on the day itself! (click on the picture to enlarge)  Most importantly, please be extra careful when you handle the bells/ chimes! WE REALLY HOPE THAT NO ONE WILL CLASH/ DROP ANY BELL OR CHIME!
Please, please be very careful!
If you feel that you cannot handle so many bells, please please do not try to act macho and insist on taking them all in one round, you can always take some first and go back again for a second round! You do not need to rush, just try to be quick and minimise unneccessary movements. :) Thank You. See ya at 0630 on Monday at Curtain Call! Dont be lateee~ P.S Remember to bring your passport on Monday! ;) Check that its yours, dont take your family member's one by accident.. New beginning.
Hello! welcome to our latest blogsite!!! three cheers! sorry, reverted back to blogger coz im more comfortable with it and i know the html and stuff here better... anyway! you can tag anything you like to in our tagbox(: but no vulgarities please! comments on how we can improve would be greatly appreciated, but if you have any queries on upcoming events, i would much prefer you msg any comm member so that we can get back to you faster. and tag to be linked! (or unlinked;D) when there is information that comes in chunks, we will post it here so that you can conveniently print it out, however, we hope you will still practise active listening during debrief/briefings by mschng or conductors, okay? also, the new comm will try to update this place as often as possible to keep all of you (including ex-snrs and sec4s) updated! i hope this place can be a happy place for all cedar ringers, past and present to communicate and have fun! and of course share our coming jouney towards the next syf! (yes, time passes this fast!) smile! rachel(: p.s. we have a new tee already, design's simple and sweet, is a white polo but very comfortable (from OAC supplier) compulsory for all sec1-3s and malacca team sec4s to buy. if any ex-snrs or sec4 snrs wanna get it, contact any comm member or email us!;D
